Superb spring flowering item with masses of mid-blue blooms which are produced on dwarf 'ball' shaped plants. Ideal for massed bedding with tulips or as an edging. Naturalises easily and grows successfully in most soils. Flowers April-June. HB - Hardy biennial. Height 15cm (6").

Sow the seed thinly direct into a finely raked, moist, weed free, warm seedbed 6mm (¼") deep. Germination usually takes 2-3 weeks. In the autumn transplant young plants to their flowering position 15cm (6") apart, choosing a sunny or partial shaded site. Alternatively, sow in August-September where required to flower and thin the resulting seedlings to the above spacing.
