Suttons Seeds - Brussels Sprouts Flower Sprout

These unusual-looking sprouts taste divine - an outstanding sweet flavour, combining the complex taste of a sprout with the mild, sweet 'nutty' taste of kale. The vigorous plants stand well in the ground, producing lots of buttons per stem, maturing up to Christmas and beyond. Just 100g of flower sprouts® contain double the amount of vitamin B6 (the vitamin that helps us use and store energy from the food we eat) and twice the amount of vitamins C and E (a powerful antioxidant to boost your immune system) than standard brussels sprouts! Harvest October-March.

Growing Information

Not just for Christmas! If suitable varieties are chosen, fresh sprouts will be available for picking from September to early spring. (30-36 weeks maturity). Sow March-early April outdoors or in frames. F1 hybrid varieties produce a larger yield per plant of better quality. The sprouts also 'hold' for longer on the stem in good condition.
