Chives are easy-to-grow and make a colourful, useful addition to any garden. The slender grass-like leaves are used for flavouring stir-fry, stews, dips, and salads. Plant with flowers, vegetables, or other herbs; use as an edging or in pots - indoors or out.

Direct sow in early spring as soon as soil is workable
